Our Old Orchard Inn Quilt Retreat is a go, we have 30 people signed up, but you can still join us, the room holds 40! And we will have a waiting list in case someone has to cancel and needs someone to take the spot.
To make your reservation now, before the October 7 deadline, please call the hotel directly: 800-561-8090 and say that you are part of the Mayflower Quilters Guild to get the group rate of $208. Or reserve online via: https://bookings,oldorchardinn.com/search-rate Enter date, add Group code: 2611QUILTR and your screen will display rooms available in the block for guests to reserve.
The fee for the retreat itself is $150, and covers the room rental, coffee, tea and pastries. Any surplus will be used to provide additional quilting goodies. The retreat fee can be paid in two installments by providing two cheques of $75 each dated June 30 and September 30. You can bring them to the June meeting or mail them to our Treasurer. Alternately you can e-transfer the money on the appropriate dates to Mayflower Quilters Guild Treasurer (mayflowertreasurer1982@mail.com) the same way we pay for workshops and memberships, please indicate Guild Retreat in the details portion of the transfer.

Open Sew Day Quilting (Pending)
Our open sew days have been at St. Andrews Community Centre 3380 Barnstead Rd. Halifax. This is just off Bayers Rd outbound just before Bayers Rd Shopping Centre. (Fabricville). It is located behind Skyline apartments. The road looks like the entrance to their parking lot. Fear not mighty quilters, a new and luxurious sewing space awaits. (Click on the link below for St Andrews Community Centre below to see the Google Map) Open sew days are generally held on Tuesdays or Thursday afternoons 1pm – 4:00pm. We will let you know when we can once again start our Sew Days.
