Mayflower Quilters’ Guild Workshops:

Cathedral Windows Workshop on Saturday, Nov 1, from 10 am to 3 pm.  It will be at the Woodlawn United Church hall (where our meetings  are held). This will be taught by Vicki Veilleux and Nancy Terry and was demonstrated at our September 15th meeting. This will be a hand-sewing project. The fee for the workshop will be $20 with payment due the October meeting.

International Quilting Day March 21st, 2026 - International Quilting Day, also known as Worldwide Quilting Day, is a global celebration of quiltmaking held on the third Saturday of March each year. The day recognizes the skill and artistry of quiltmakers, and events are held worldwide by quilt lovers and makers to share their passion, including virtual events, quilt shows, and community gatherings.

Open Sew Day Quilting (Pending)

Our open sew days have been at St. Andrews Community Centre 3380 Barnstead Rd. Halifax. This is just off Bayers Rd outbound just before Bayers Rd Shopping Centre. (Fabricville). It is located behind Skyline apartments. The road looks like the entrance to their parking lot. Fear not mighty quilters, a new and luxurious sewing space awaits.  (Click on the link below for St Andrews Community Centre below to see the Google Map) Open sew days are generally held on Tuesdays or Thursday afternoons 1pm – 4:00pm. We will let you know when we can once again start our Sew Days.
