Scrap Quilt Workshop, Saturday, March 21st, 2026, 10 to 3. The Scrap Quilt Workshop is happening before our March in-person meeting, so everyone will need to register by email or on the Facebook posting Gillian did yesterday, or just show up at the workshop. Thanks.
Joan Cleaveley will do a workshop on using up your scraps. She says she will show several quilts that can be done with scraps as well as some smaller items. A couple of examples are shown below. One of the quilts she will demo is foundation paper pieced. More details on what to bring, sizes of scraps, etc. will be made available in a few weeks. Ron Cleaveley will be helping Joan and will bring an Accu Quilt to do some cutting if needed.
We hope lots of you plan to attend this useful workshop. We all build up scrap collections and don’t always know what to do with them. The workshop will be Saturday March 21, from 10:00 to 3:00 in the church hall where our monthly meetings are held. The cost will be $25 per person for the day.
Please remember, we will not be having an in-person Mayflower meeting until after this workshop. If you want to attend, please comment on the Facebook post or send an email to: Gillian McDougall mcdgill@hotmail.com indicating your plans. Payment can be sent by etransfer to mayflowertreasurer1982@gmail.com or made in person at the workshop. Please note in the memo section of your etransfer that it is for the workshop and who you are if it is not clear in your email address.
